Julie also understands family law personally. Having gone through her own divorce involving custody of a young child, she knows how overwhelming the process can be and works to provide practical guidance while helping clients avoid unnecessary conflict.

Before focusing exclusively on family law, Julie worked on advocacy efforts at the Texas Capitol supporting legislation affecting Texas families. She graduated from the University of Miami School of Law in 2008, practiced in Florida, and returned to Texas in 2015. She is licensed in both Texas and Florida.
